What we stand for
Avelo’s mission is to save lives by bringing fast and actionable infectious disease diagnosis to primary care. What we aspire and what we do is key for our reason to exist, but how we do it is just as important. The following four Values and our Code of Conduct ↗ provide us with a compass on the “how”:
Walk the Talk
Our actions, words, and behaviors matter. Perception is reality, so we deliver what we promise and get stuff done. We take ownership for the task at hand. We embrace challenges with a can-do-attitude and act with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Diversity & Inclusion
We provide an inclusive and respectful work environment where each person is considered an individual. We value our diversity and recognize every individual’s merit. We feel free to make suggestions, question the status quo, and voice criticism.
Excellence
We focus on value-generating activities where we strive for excellence, especially in technology & science. We act with the highest integrity and don’t take shortcuts when it comes to scientific data. Good is the enemy of great, so we are not afraid of making mistakes, rather we take them as learning opportunity and potential for improvement.
Healthy Way
We are aiming for the moon, yet we do this in a healthy and fun way. We support the health and well-being of our talents. At Avelo we can do both: we can be ambitious in our job while fulfilling our family responsibilities and pursuing our individual passion and personal wishes.
